Steps star Lisa Scott-Lee started her morning with a boost earlier this week when Jez Barnett, Managing Director of British Keratin Treatment brand KeraStraight treated her tresses to an 'Intense Protein Boost' treatment during a breakfast event at the Pastels salon in the glamorous Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Dubai.
Jez, who had made the international trip to introduce the brand to the media and to support the local distributor, personally applied the 30-minute treatment which is designed to strengthen and repair fine, weak or damaged hair, leaving it healthier, stronger and softer for up to 30 days.
Lisa moved to Dubai after taking a break from Steps and as well as being a Principal at Dubai Performing Arts, she also runs a successful blog plus has a column in a local magazine.
In addition to her early morning pampering session, to help her maintain her hair at home Jez gifted Lisa with a goody bag including the KeraStraight Protein Mask, Rescue Crème, Root Lift Spray Gel and KeraStraight Protect which guards against the sun's harmful UVA and UVB rays, making it essential for use in hot humid climates such as Dubai.

Having worked in the industry both as a hairdresser for over 30 years and as a brand founder since 2008, every day I'm fortunate to meet lots of fascinating people, so it was an absolute delight to look after Lisa. I was interested to learn about her new life in Dubai, plus thrilled to hear she enjoyed finding out more about KeraStraight's products and treatments, the development of our company and most importantly, that she loved the enhanced look as well as the feel of her hair afterwards.
It was a busy few days, as from Dubai I then went on to visit Abu Dhabi and Kuwait. However, I felt very proud to bring a British born brand to the Middle East and to fly the flag for UK hairdressing. Having received such a warm welcome, I am very much looking forward to visiting again in the near future.
