Hairdressing has been a way of life for Kymberly Jefferson, from the multi-award winning Leeds Salon Cutting Room Creative, since the age of 16. She has a L’oreal colour specialist degree under her belt and recently joined the prestigious Colour Project X Team. Fortunately for us, she is also part of KeraStraight’s 2015 Art Team. Armed with a passion for learning and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and ideas, Kymberley is a real team player and brings nothing but abundant energy to the team. A new day, a new experience
Kymberley admits that she loves every aspect of hairdressing from hair styling to editorial shoots, and it is this excellent variety that demonstrates just how unique and exciting a career as a hairdresser can be. Having undertaken recent editorial shoots with Voir Fashion Magazine for the likes of Chanel, Valentino, Chloe, and Anna Sui, Kymberley is excited for the next big trend of 70s-style boho waves - a chic look which is easy to achieve and will be a hot feature this spring and summer.
No day is ever the same, so every day brings something exciting and different. I love that we can never know everything, and there is always something new to be learnt. I love the passionate people within the hairstyling industry, and that you get to meet people of all ages and walks of life. I have a 96 year old client who I just adore. I love making people feel good about themselves, and knowing that I’ve put the sparkle back in a client’s eye is an amazing feeling.
