Created for clients
Founder Jez Barnett established KeraStraight in 2009 in response to the shocking lack of keratin straightening and repair treatments in the UK. “It wasn’t possible to buy in the UK what I was reading about in the US, and we wanted to change that as the clients in America were going mad for these new breakthrough treatments,” explains Jez. “We wanted to create a treatment that would make our clients’ lives so much easier, so we did, and an evolution in straightening and repair was born!”
Growth
The business quickly went from strength to strength, with big name salons rushing to sign up. It wasn’t too long before Trevor Sorbie became our Ambassador. We are all so proud to be working with Trevor; he is a true visionary and industry leader who helps us educate salons and clients about the incredible smoothing and repairing powers of our range.
KeraStraight has expanded significantly over recent years and now offers a wide range of revolutionary products and treatments. Our award-winning range is now available in 19 countries worldwide, and we have big plans to start supplying to more in the coming months and years.
Haircare for all hair types
From our innovative and award-winning KS Ultimate and Intense Boost treatments to our highly progressive KS Style range, our products have been shown to help transform and repair all hair types. The hugely popular Enhance shampoos and conditioners, launched in 2015, have been causing a stir, too. And no highlights post would be complete without mentioning our gorgeous and oh so popular Ultimate Oil which made it into the finals of CEW’s 2015 Beauty Awards. There’s certainly plenty going on at KeraStraight HQ. The entire team is working hard to keep providing our clients with industry-leading products that give soft, touchable, natural results, and our founder Jez might have a few surprises up his sleeve too.
Our ambition is always to ensure that our products and treatment lead the industry so that our salons can deliver results their clients truly desire and have never been able to achieve before.
I’m currently working on the next generation of Intense Boost, and there’s an extra-special, secret treatment in development too. We are always working to improve our products and extend our range, so watch this space!
