2015 promises to be an extremely exciting year for KeraStraight! We’re thrilled to announce that we are finalists in not one, but five categories at this year’s Hair Awards. One of the most esteemed industry events designed to reward salons, stylists and brands on their most innovative products and services, the Hair Awards provides superb exposure and never fails to inspire customer confidence.
We were delighted to have our KeraStraight Irons shortlisted in 2013. With four of our products up for awards this year, we’re confident that this demonstrates our passion, commitment and vision to delivering products that truly protect and care for our customers' hair.
Introducing KeraStraight’s sensational finalists
With the competition of such high calibre again this year, our four sensational products were deemed worthy finalists after being scrutinised by the Hair Magazine team. KeraStraight’s Ultimate Oil is a strong contender in both the Hair Oil and Afro Hair Oil category, recognised for its advanced blend of 9 specially chosen oils, resulting in a lightweight, frizz-free and non-greasy finish.
Our Straight Maintain Shampoo and Conditioner are finalists in the Smoothing/Straightening shampoo and conditioner category, renowned for providing superb after-treatment care, keeping hair sleeker and straighter for longer.
Next is KeraStraight’s Glossing Texture Crème, a finalist in the Hair Awards’ Texturising Product category. Our Glossing Texture Crème is acknowledged for its strength-building and frizz reduction, leaving all hair types glossy with a brilliant shine just begging to be touched.
Last but not least is our KeraStraight Rescue Crème, the perfect hydration treatment to repair damaged hair, seal split and broken ends, and lock in moisture - and a competitor in the Smoothing/Straightening Product category.
How are the winners selected?
While the finalists are chosen by the Hair Magazine team, the winners will be chosen by a consumer testing panel made up of Hair Magazine readers.
KeraStraight founder, Jez Barnett recently revealed that he’s looking forward to the awards, and excited about one category, in particular. “It’s very exciting, were delighted to be in the finals, but fingers crossed, we’d love to win! We’d be delighted to win any, but we have so many people tell us that Ultimate Oil is the best they’ve ever used, so we would really love to win the Hair Oil category.”
He also discussed how KeraStraight has become a cherished brand for both stylists and customers alike, stating, “Our KS Style products are built to activate with heat during the drying process, both protecting from heat and building strength and hydration, so giving both clients and hairdressers the innovative styling tools they are looking for. The main thing is that both hairdressers and clients enjoy working with them and delight in the results they deliver.”
