Every year we look forward to The Hair Awards. Being the only awards in the UK to be based on consumer and industry testing, it really stands as a sign of respect from those that we value most — you! The awards commend brands, stylists, and salons which are driving the industry forward: that innovate new and exciting products, which not only meet consumer need but ultimately solve the hair-woes of so many around the world.
In light of this, you can imagine how excited we are to have been shortlisted in four categories as well as being placed in their ‘Super 60', amongst the likes of L'Oreal, ghd, and Revlon. So, without further-ado here are the details on the categories we've been shortlisted for!
Best smoothing/straightening shampoo and conditioner
This category looks to seek out the best shampoo and conditioner combination for those with unruly hair, who are looking for a smooth and straight finish. Once again our Moisture Enhance Shampoo and Conditioner have made the cut, taking the prize last year. Working in sync, the two products lock in moisture to repair coarse or damaged hair. Only time will tell if we retain our title this year!
Best Afro Hair Oil
Afro hair is big and beautiful, and if you're wearing it loud and proud a hair oil is essential to maintain great condition! This prize helps to find exactly that: an oil which works particularly well to reduce frizz but still give life and boost to afro hair. Our Ultimate Oil, a stunning cocktail of nine specially chosen oils, does just this. The lightweight formula enriches dry and brittle afro hair to leave it feeling soft and light.
