A lot can happen in 8 years, and for us this has certainly been the case. We are proud to celebrate our 8th birthday today, launching KeraStraight on the 6th March 2009. Of course we could not have made it here without the support of so many great figures within the industry, a dedicated team of staff, and you — our fantastic customers that we love to please with our products and treatments.
What have we been up to?
In our 8 year lifespan we’ve continued to develop our 4-month transformational treatment, with the help and guidance of expert chemists and thirty years of experience from our founder Jez. With each change being developed in line with reviews from clients and salons, we continue to strive to create the perfect straightening, repairing and smoothing treatment which, unlike other similar treatments on the market, is formaldehyde free.
As well as our four month treatment we have also launched Intense Boost, which delivers lasting results for 30 days. In the five years since launch we haven’t seen an equal competitor.
This eight years has also seen our own products constantly evolve. From the formula, to the packaging, they have a been a work in progress. With some products taking less time to develop than others, it has taken a while to release our full range, however now you can find everything you need to make gorgeous easy: from masks, to texture creams, to shampoos and conditioners.
2017 has already been a busy year for us, working with our global ambassadors at Trevor Sorbie for London Fashion Week . Using our products across a day jam-packed with presentations, it was certainly an eye opening experience and really allowed us to show the versatility of our products. As well of this we have also been shortlisted for The Hair Awards: a fantastic accolade that we are very proud to be a part of.
What’s next?
Starting the year on a high, we look to keep moving forward. With a new shoot imminent, again in collaboration with Trevor Sorbie, we are looking to move in a different direction. Of course, we cannot go into details but we are very excited at the prospect of reaching new audiences with a different style and website design.
We are always looking to improve our products, and continue to work on their formulations to give you the best performing products possible. Your reviews are integral to our work, and we are looking forward to hearing more great stories from those that have used our products or experienced the full treatment — so don’t hesitate to get in touch.
It’s certainly been a rollercoaster of a ride so far, and we cannot wait for what we have planned for the future. With this in mind, here are a final few words from our Founder Jez.
