Preparation is everything!

Set the scene
The right surroundings can really create the relaxing atmosphere you’re looking for. At the very least, have a tidy up! And ideally, decorate with flowers and relaxing lighting or candles.
It’s not just about the look of the space, though. Would your mum enjoy a relaxing playlist during her spa day? Or is she someone who cherishes simple peace and quiet? And are there any scents she loves? Scented candles could be a great place to start.
Start the day as you mean to go on
