It’s party time! You may already have decided on the outfits that will make you stand out from the crowd at this year’s office party, or the myriad of festive get-togethers and nights out between now and New Year, but make sure your hair doesn’t let you down – however much you dress to impress, if your hair is a mess, it will stop you being the belle of the ball - or the cold meat buffet at your parents’ house.
Party looks can be fun and relaxed, or fastidious and formal, but there’s no excuse for them not looking fabulous if you invest in the right treatments and products.

Here are some Sandy’s top party hair looks.
“The ponytail is always a hit, whether it’s from a centre parting, to the side or pulled straight back. Always chose a small piece of your ponytail to dress around the band. This will give a more dressed and stylish end result.”
“Plaiting is still a great way to create a popular, undone party look. Get your hair ready by washing with your usual KeraStraight Shampoo and Conditioner. Add Root Lift Spray Gel to damp hair along with a spritz of Moisture Mist to add smoothness and condition. Then plait your hair and twist around into a bun. After a long day at work simply take Ultimate Oil, undo your plait and add a small amount of the oil to the lengths of your hair whilst teasing your fingers through your hair. Tip your hair upside down to ensure there are no knots on the underneath. This will add a little volume too. Now you are ready to party in Boho style.”

Shorter hair has never been more sexy. Use Glossing Texture Creme on wet hair and shape to a slick wave or simply comb back while wet. A tuck behind the ears looks great, or try a quiff.
