Known for his colourful creativity and stylish presentation, we are so excited that Zak Twohig - a member of the Trevor Sorbie Artistic team and Head of Technical Education at the flagship Trevor Sorbie salon in Covent Garden - is Trevor Sorbie’s newly-announced Head Ambassador for KeraStraight.
With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Zak works with stars such as Dakota Johnson and Ruth Jones, as well as household names from Doctor Who and Downton Abbey. He’s a L’Oréal colour specialist and recently named as one of the Harper’s Bazaar top London colourists.
Working for Trevor Sorbie really was a dream come true for Zak. “Trevor has always been one of my hair heroes. I’ve known his name since I started my training with Vidal Sassoon, so working within his salon is amazing. For a boy growing up in Ebbw Vale in Wales who started hairdressing at just 15 - London was always the ultimate destination. Now with 23 years in the industry, I’ve covered all aspects of hair colour, perming and texture. I’ve worked with Vidal Sassoon, at Toni & Guy, where I became the technical director and with Aveda for 8 years as Head of Colour and as Salon Manager. And now I work with Trevor.”
In his spare time, Zak loves to train at the same intense level as a professional bodybuilder.
